Eye Makeup Tips
Makeup to a woman is what Fife is to a man. I am sure a lot of women can relate to it. For me makeup is an art and my face a canvas. As much as some people believe that makeup is just another word for faking, I say it is just another word for accentuating (one’s beauty). Each day is a challenge, with endless priorities in the morning, some eye makeup tips have come in handy. One thing however I would like to stress more on than others, is healthy diet which contains a lot of water and fruits. I have seen people use creams, lotions and treatments to get a fresher skin but I have also seen people with just a healthy diet. And trust me, the results are so much better with the healthy diet ones.
A good amount of water intake allows your eyes to look more alert and fresh instead of looking like a painted tea bag.
For the quicker looks, you don’t have to go through the trouble of putting on primer followed by a foundation or eye cream. What works best for everyday look is simple ole tinted moisturizer or BB-Cream. Just put a little amount of it wisely on your face, and eye area. Follow up with an eye shade very close to your natural skin tone on your eye-lid. Now choose a shade darker than your skin tone and apply it on your crease. Almond, down-turned, and upturned eyes should focus more on outer crease. Those with mono-lid and hooded eye shapes should focus evenly. This will add depth to your eyes. Which reminds me, knowing your eye shape is the key. Do not take this lightly. This is the prescribed eye makeup tip.
Once properly blended for eyeliner you have a few eye makeup tips depending on the choice of your desired look or feel. Using a charcoal eye liner, line your upper lash line from inside. Make sure you fill the minute spaces between eye lashes. Lining the lower lash line with a brown eye pencil can further enhance a no-make-up look. End it with a volume eye-mascara. If not that, using charcoal waterproof eyeliner, preferably a pencil to give a more natural look, line your upper lash line. Add a bit of depth by smudging a little at the outer lash line. When lining the inner lash line, make sure you line very close to the lash line and tear duct. Use the same mascara to lightly shaping your eyebrows. For a more alert looks use a shade lighter than your skin tone on the brow bone.
In formal occasions your inner eye light shade and outer eye dark shade ratio should balance each other, too much shine in the inner eye can make your eyes look wide. This is a very useful eye makeup tip. Also, when going for bold eye, try not to go with bold lips. This might make you look like hi-meet-me-i-am-trying-too-hard. A bold cat-eyeliner with neutral base and slightly darker outer-v complimented with dark lip is the look to die for.I would agree that makeup is a skill. But a skill that can easily be learned if you follow a few key eye makeup tips you are on the road to learning that skill. Water and eye-shape is the lesson for today.
